TAIZAN KAKKI Leather Sake Bottle with Raden Lacquer

TAIZAN KAKKI Leather Sake Bottle with Raden Lacquer

The world's first leatherware brand, "TAIZAN KAKKI" (read: TAIZAN KAKKI).

In recent years, as many luxury leather bags and jackets are produced, split leather has often been discarded. TAIZAN redefines this unused material as "WabiSabi Leather," blending traditional Japanese aesthetics with innovative leather molding technology.
Under the name TAIZAN KAKKI (泰太山革器), it expresses a new culture of vessels.

Just as "鞄 (kaban)" is read as "leather x wrap,"
TAIZAN proposes a new kanji, "革器 (KAKKI)," formed by "leather x vessel."

WabiSabi Leather is elevated into "guinomi," traditional Japanese sake cups.

Leather is transformed from something worn to "vessels that adorn food culture."
A new WabiSabi Luxury born from Japanese aesthetics.

The spirit of "itadakimasu" (receiving life with gratitude) rooted in Japan.
The ultimate sustainable leatherware, created by valuing respect for the material itself and fully utilizing the life of cowhide.

Furthermore, one of the charms of leatherware is its characteristic of being "overwhelmingly difficult to break" compared to ceramics. However, even if cracks or breaks occur, by incorporating the traditional Japanese repair philosophies of "kintsugi" and "yobitsugi," it is possible to beautifully restore them.

Even scratches and cracks are accepted as beauty.
This is the very essence of the "WabiSabi Luxury" value proposed by TAIZAN.

*A special paulownia wood box is included.
