TAIZAN redefines this unused material as "WabiSabi Leather," blending traditional Japanese aesthetics with innovative leather molding techniques. Under the name TAIZAN KAKKI (泰太山革器), it expresses a new culture of "ware."

Just as "kaban" (鞄) is read as "leather" (革) + "wrap" (包), TAIZAN proposes a new kanji, "kakki" (革器), formed by "leather" (革) + "ware" (器).

From leather as something to wear, to "ware that enriches food culture." This is a new wabi-sabi luxury born from Japanese aesthetics.

The spirit of "itadakimasu" is deeply rooted in Japan. This ultimate sustainable leatherware is born from valuing respect for the material itself and making the most of the life of cowhide without waste.

Furthermore, one of the charms of leatherware is its characteristic of being "overwhelmingly less likely to break" compared to ceramics. However, even if cracks or breaks occur, it is possible to beautifully restore them by incorporating the Japanese traditional repair philosophies of "kintsugi" and "yobitsugi."

Even scratches and cracks are accepted as beauty. This is the very essence of "wabi-sabi luxury," a value proposed by TAIZAN.

・General dish soap can be used.

・Wash gently with a soft sponge and rinse thoroughly under running water.

・Do not use a dishwasher; wipe off moisture with a cloth or towel and air dry.

・Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach.
