The TAIZAN Pure Silver (SV999) series inherits the "shiroganeshi" (silversmith) techniques passed down since the late Edo period, skillfully incorporating traditional craft methods.During the Edo period, artisans who crafted silver products were known as "shiroganeshi." They received commissions from daimyo families, creating silver kettles, kiseru (smoking pipes), and tea ceremony utensils, thus supporting Japanese culture and aesthetics.
In recent years, silver has been reevaluated globally due to rising gold and silver prices. Pure silver (Silver 999 / SV999) has a purity of 99.9% or more, maximizing the inherent qualities of silver compared to alloys (such as sterling silver 925). It contains almost no foreign metals like nickel or copper, making it less likely to cause metal allergies.
