This product is made to order and handcrafted. Since each piece is carefully crafted with soul using WabiSabi Leather, it takes approximately 3 months for delivery.
◆The Story Behind KABUTO (a two-way tote and backpack)
・It looks good as a backpack, but not stylish as a tote bag.
・A backpack is convenient for commuting, but not smart to carry into a client's office.
・It blends in with suits, but not with casual clothes.
To solve these problems, we developed a luxury bag that can be used 365 days a year, with both suits and casual clothes.
Please enjoy the versatile KABUTO, designed by the representative of TAIZAN himself, out of a desire to "avoid any overlap with other brands' designs."
◆How to Use
・When using as a backpack, attach the back hardware.
・When using as a tote bag, remove the hardware and store it in the dedicated pocket.
・When placing it on a suitcase, open the top and bottom zippers to secure it so it doesn't fall off.
・Store your laptop in the dedicated laptop compartment.
◆Design
TAIZAN's KABUTO is designed with the image of the鍬形 (kuwagata -鍬-shaped decorative frontal ornaments) and 吹返 (fukikaeshi - wing-like plates on the sides) of a "kabuto" (helmet).
Kabuto first appeared in the Kofun period. While they initially served as protective gear, they gradually came to represent the dignity and individuality of warlords as times changed. We craft each bag with love, hoping it will become a bag that allows your individuality to explode.
